1.Chicken

Our Chicken farmer is Paul Martin, from Wallenstein
ON(St.Jacobs area). - Small Mennonite farm, family owned & operated.
- Free run birds,raised with twice the allotted space to roam the barn.
- 100% antibiotic free, through their whole life cycle.
- Birds are fed a custom,non -medicated feed with flax and no animal by-products.
- Chicken are processed on the farm with no cages and long distance travel,reducing stress to the birds.
- Chicken are processed on Wednesday,using the water chilled system,delivered to us on on Thursday.
- Upon arrival to the shop,whole chicken are broken down into pieces for sale.
- Also available, liver and other organs, chicken feet and bones for soup or broth (chicken box).
2.BEEF
- Our Beef farmer is Ed,from Cambridge ON.
- 100% Grass-fed and Grass finished.
- Farmer grown chemical free diet of grasses, clover and legumes.
- Traditionally raised in a closed cow-calf herd. All cattle are born & raised on the farm.
- Abattoir shares neighboring land,limiting stress to the animals for processing.
- Beef is dry aged for 21 days before being delivered to our shop for sale.
- Available to purchase: Premium steaks,various butcher cuts and roasts,ribs,sausages,ground beef.
- By popular demand we sell the organs of the animal and bones for soup broth.
pork
- Our piggery farmers are Fred & Ingrit Martines, from Perth Pork, located in the Stratford area.
- Family-owned farm,specializing in heritage breeds.
- Raised in the barn for shelter with access to open fields to root & graze.
- Antibiotic free.
- Pigs are processed on the farm to reduce stress to the animal.
- Tamworth, Berkshire,Duroc pigs all carried in a variety of cuts. Bacon,smoked ham,chops,roasts, ground meat and sausages with no added fillers.
Turkey
- Raised by the Snyder family in Breslau, ON (near Waterloo).
- Farmer raised GMO free feed with added vitamins, minerals and pro biotics.
- 100% antibiotic free.
- Turkeys are fresh frozen at the time of processing and arrive to us as a frozen product.
- Available for sale are whole turkeys for the holidays, individual bird pieces, ground turkey, sausage with no fillers.
